Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Vascular Surgery is seeking a fulltime RN to join our team of dedicated professionals.  Is providing excellent patient care something that comes naturally to you? Are you interested in joining the best team in healthcare? 

 

Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Schedule patient appointments and procedures.
• Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data.
• Preparing and assisting with in-office vein procedures and angiograms.
• Provide patient education on pre-op testing and education.
• Manage patient communication, including returning phone calls and answering questions.
• Manage and process referral buckets and clinical work queues.

 

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa.
• Prefer experience in a medical office performing similar functions.
• CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
