Registration Supervisor

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a Registration Supervisor for our outstanding registration team.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of highly dedicated medical professionals and staff whose primary mission is to provide high quality, compassionate care to our patients. 

 

The individual selected for this role will develop, recommend, plan, and administer registration policies.  Will also supervise, training, and offer guidance to our registration team.

 

Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver training and ongoing development for both new and existing staff.
  • Provide corrective coaching to address performance issues and workplace concerns.
  • Address and resolve HIPPA compliance issues through corrective training and oversight.
  • Manage and approve employee timecards for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct registration coordination audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and manage records, including documentation for coaching and corrective actions.
  • Lead and facilitate team meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
  • Plan, organize, and support departmental education initiatives.
  • Oversee kiosk operations and ensure proper functionality and usage.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment, including interviewing, hiring, and terminations.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in front desk reception and/or patient registration within a healthcare setting.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Experience with eClinical Works is a plus. 
  • Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
