Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Urology is looking for a full-time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our growing team!

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:          

  • Manage patient caseload and provide initial and ongoing evaluations.
  • Plans and prepares treatment plans describing a strategy, purpose and anticipated outcome.
  • Administers manual exercises, application of physical agents (i.e.: ultrasound, electric stimulation)
  • Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit often conferring with physician and other practitioners.
  • Patient education for at-home exercises.
  • Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, monthly progress notes and discharge summaries timely and completely.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Candidates must be or become proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Candidate must be knowledgeable in applying skills and adhere to safety regulations. 
  • Qualified applicants are required to have Physical Therapist license in Iowa with specialized education and certifications in pelvic floor therapy.
  • Two years of experience preferred.
