Administrative Division Manager
Linn County
Works within the Office of Public Health Director and leads all elements of administration, accreditation, budget, finance, strategic plan and supervision of staff in the Division. This division manager is also responsible for public health informatics (systematic application of information, computer science, and technology to public health practice, research, and learning).
Main Duties:
- Works with Public Health director and staff to develop and manage the Linn County Public Health budget, fall and spring amendments, monthly financial and variance reports
- Establishes, maintains, and leads Public Health activities related to accreditation, strategic planning, workforce development, and quality improvement
- Supervises office manager, account technicians, and laboratory personnel
- Represents the Public Health director in meetings and performs assigned duties when Public Health director is out of the office
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in public health is preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in financial reporting and budgeting required, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Salary:
- Minimum: $97,260
- Midpoint: $116,986
Shift:
- Monday – Friday | 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
