This position involves working on-site in the Cedar Rapids area, or in the Cedar Rapids office.
Salary Range:
- $26.00/hour to $29.00/hour
Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

The Safety Assistant will provide the administrative support listed below for the Safety Manager:
- Provide documentation preparation, meeting support, scanning/photocopying services.
- Coordinate third party safety training.
- Maintain filing of safety training records/documentation.
- Field support for OSHA.
- Assist with training preparation - set up catering, copy/create training material.
- Proficient with MS Office suite and Excel.
- Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
- Critical reasoning and attention to details
- Dependable with excellent work ethics.
- Help train and mentor new hires.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
- 10 Hour OSHA or acquired within the first 6 months of date of hire and 30-hour OSHA to follow.
- Pass ten panel drug screening test and preemployment physical.
- Clean driving record.
- Clean background check.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Field Experience preferred.
