Office Coordinator
Wellington Heights Community Church
The Office Coordinator is responsible for advancing the vision and mission of Wellington Heights Community Church by ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the church office. This role provides essential administrative, clerical, and organizational support to staff, ministries, and church operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed, including mailings, filing,organizing, copying, printing, and record keeping.
- Manage scheduling for appointments, meetings, events, and building needs, ensuring accurate coordination and communication.
- Maintain and regularly update church databases and administrative records.
- Manage incoming phone calls and correspondence
- Prepare and produce weekly bulletins for Sunday services.
- Coordinate details for Baptism, Communion and Greeting Team
- Update and maintain the Wellington Heights Community Church website with current and accurate information.
- Manage and oversee church calendars, including scheduling and coordination of building usage.
- Ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently by monitoring office supplies and kitchen/hospitality inventory and placing orders as needed.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate efforts with the larger staff team and participate in monthly staff meetings and yearly staff retreat
- Handle responsibilities with professionalism, confidentiality, and a spirit of hospitality consistent with the mission of Wellington Heights Community Church.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to support a team-oriented ministry culture.
- Experienced with technology, including databases, calendars, email, and website updates
- Commit to an approach of ministry rooted in the approach of Christian Community Development.

Highly organized, dependable and consistent, with a strong sense of responsibility and follow-through, relates well to people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, team-oriented, with a collaborative spirit and willingness to support others
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience as an office administrator or relevant role
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization is preferred but not required
HOURS:
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
