Are you the organized coordinator who keeps the wheels turning?  We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Lead with Mechanical Aptitude to serve as the "Central Command"! This is a key operational role that combines logistics coordination with fleet management; reporting to the Operations Manager.  

 

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination with crews to ensure proper and efficient loading & unloading.
• Track inventory & material usage, ensure our numbers match what is on the floor
• Organization of the warehouse; including materials & tools.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for trucks/equipment.
• Evaluate damage/operational issues with trucks/equipment. 
• Perform light operational maintenance of trucks & equipment.
• Ensure maintenance of all spray foam equipment.
• Verify PM maintenance on trucks is kept up & the correct tools and equipment are onboard.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical issues on trucks & ensure spare parts are in stock.

• Organized & detail-oriented.
• Works well supported by a team, as well as solo.
• Understands how to use spreadsheets & checklists.
• Have some mechanical knowledge (master mechanic not necessary)
• Eager to learn and work for a company to grow with, eager to master the flow of operations & take on more leadership.
• Focused on keeping costs down with a practical understanding that proper maintenance minimizes downtime and expensive repairs.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years in Warehouse Management, Logistics Coordination, or Fleet Operations
• Mechanical ability and sense 
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
• Proficiency with computer basics  (Excel, Email)
• Forklift certification 
• Clean driving record
