4 positions available. Performs work of routine difficulty in operating a van or bus for the purpose of transporting elderly, people with disabilities, and other passengers. Assists passengers on and off the vehicles. Work is performed under general supervision.

Main Duties:

• Drives a van or bus on a demand activated or regular transit system.
• Assists passengers in boarding and leaving vehicles, including pushing passengers of all sizes using wheelchairs and semi-ambulatory passengers door-to-door.
• Assists passengers with transporting personal possessions such as packages or groceries.
• Secures passengers using wheelchairs and operates wheelchair lift.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in paid driving, customer service, or human services.
• Experience driving trucks/vans/buses strongly preferred.

Hourly Wage:

• New Hire: $22.09 
• 90 days: $23.17 
• 1 year: $24.38
• 2 years: $25.71 
• 3 years: $27.14

Shifts:                                 

• 3 positions available for Monday – Friday | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• 1 position available for Monday – Friday | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
