Physical Therapy Patient Services Specialist

We are looking for someone to join our team at Steindler Physical Therapy in North Liberty! 

This is a fast-paced outpatient health care environment located inside the new Steindler Orthopedic Clinic.  Our Physical and Occupational Therapists work closely with the doctors and medical staff at Steindler to deliver exceptional orthopedic care.  This position requires someone with a positive attitude who can multi-task, all while delivering excellent customer service to our patients.   Our front desk staff are responsible for being the first and last point of contact for patients coming into our clinic, which sets the tone for the visit and ensures an outstanding patient experience. 

Job Duties include:

• Greeting patients to welcome them to our clinic
• Register/update patient information to our computer system
• Collect patient payments/answer billing questions.  
• Answering phones to schedule appointments and answer patient questions
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorization for care

Requirements:

• Good people skills/friendly personality, computer skills including scheduling/patient accounts software, ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, good telephone manners/etiquette.
