NorthCrest Specialty Care is seeking a 1st Shift Restorative Aide
Under on-site supervision of a licensed nurse, the Restorative Aide assists in the provision of restorative/rehabilitative care and services to residents as identified as part of the care plan; operates within the guidelines consistent with accepted/legal standards of practice relevant to individual's level of training/education or specialized certification (Certified Rehabilitation Assistant). As a restorative aide you will be assisting in bed makings, supervision of residents.
Qualifications
- Current, valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Iowa, or valid certification as a COTA or PTA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge in geriatric restorative care is preferred.
- Functional Literacy in written and spoken English.
- Ability to provide guidance and training of other CNA’s and residents with non-complex nursing restorative procedures.
- Proficient interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
- Ability to function in a team environment.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to communicate in writing and record resident responses to treatment preferred.
- Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately
