Senior Credit Analyst

This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the financial standing of bank customers and prospective clients.  This position will primarily work with commercial and agricultural credits to analyze financial statements, tax returns, projections, and other relevant information to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank. Works with the Chief Credit Officer to develop and compile monthly and quarterly reports for management and the Board of Directors. This position is also responsible for preparation of loan information for review and approval.

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates should possess strong skill sets in analytical and reasoning abilities, accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and oral and written communication.
• Senior Credit Analyst candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of related experience or training. 
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is beneficial.
• Candidates must be able to travel to Kerndt Brothers Cedar Rapids branch location for training and as needed.
