Oversees and manages the operations and the activities of the accounting functions within the Auditor’s Office.
MAIN ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ensures accurate processing and reporting of financial transactions by staff
- Supervises staff; recommends actions related to selection, performance evaluations and discipline
- Oversees the accounting functions and evaluate processes and workflows for effectiveness and compliance
- Acts as a functional subject matter expert in the administration of related accounting systems
- Prepares various records, reports, and manuals, and conducts special projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- 4+ years of professional level accounting experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading or supervising teams
- Strong oral and written and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and positive team approach
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
SHIFT:
- 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday
