Branch originally started in 1925 in Waterloo. It expanded to include Cedar Rapids and Iowa City and then again by adding La Crosse and Dubuque. The final expansion included the acquisition of the Ft. Dodge/Mason City branch. Bob Bitter acquired the branch in 1985 and was president/owner until 1997 when it was acquired by his children, Dawn Bitter Champion and Rob Bitter. Rob has been sole owner of the branch since Dawn retired in 2013.
