Kent Nutrition Group a division of Kent Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for a Dairy Research and Nutritionist position. The ideal candidate will be a recognized field expert for Kent Nutrition Group within their area of specialty. This position is based in Muscatine, Iowa and will be responsible in designing dairy research protocol, dairy feed product formulation and technical support. A full relocation benefit is available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsibility of this position will be comprised of 70% Research and Formulation and 30%Technical Support.
• Take the lead role in development of new products and programs as seen needed in conjunction with sales and marketing.
• Be able to work within a team working environment.
• Take an active leadership role at Trade and Consumer events serving as an advocate for the Kent Nutrition Group Company and brands.
• Support growth of Kent Nutrition Group brand and trade awareness through active editorial involvement in key trade and consumer publications.
• Identify, develop and manage specific key accounts and key projects.
• Take an active leadership role in project coordination and utilize synergies between sales force, specific growth accounts and prospective accounts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• PHD in Dairy/Ruminant Nutrition.
• 2 years applicable experience in dairy feed formulation/industry
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present, interact with and negotiate with key influencers within specialty area.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
• Effective use of computer technology including Ration Balancing and Microsoft Office applications.
