The Recruiting Specialist facilitates the full cycle recruitingprocess and partners with hiring managers and business leaders tofulfill the talent needs of the organization.

  • Manages the recruiting process, including individual sourcing,pre-screening, and interview coordination.
  • Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure jobrequirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidatesare assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Maintains effective practices to facilitate the hiring ofinternal and external candidates, minimizing administrative timeand efforts while ensuring the placement of qualified individualsin the most timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Assists with reference checks and other hiring assessment toolsas needed.
  • Utilizes diverse sourcing programs to ensure the company'scommitment as an equal opportunity employer and with AAP placementgoals in mind throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develops strong working relationships and partners with hiringmanagers and business leaders.
  • Provides the candidate with relevant employment informationwhich may include compensation, benefits, Core Values, and companypolicies to ensure the candidate is well informed.
  • Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predictstaffing activity.
  • Provides regular feedback to respective hiring managers andcandidates to ensure a timely and consistent recruitment processflow.
  • Actively participates in all staffing related activities andrecruiting events including career and college fairs.
  • Effectively represents Integrated DNA Technologies as anEmployer of Choice with current and prospective candidates andreferral sources.
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNATechnologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNATechnologies experience to internal customers, candidates, andother business associates.
  • Other HR related duties as assigned.
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management orappropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education andexperience required
  • Professional Experience:
    • Previous recruiting experience, as well as the proven abilityto interact and recruit at all levels of the organizationrequired
    • Strong understanding of federal, state and local employmentlaws, regulations and statutes necessary
    • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
    • Prior experience working with applicant tracking system, iCIMSpreferred

    • Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control orplanning of an activity.
