The Omnia/Oasis System Administrator supports the ongoing operations of ImOn Communications by analyzing, improving, and maintaining data integrity in the Omnia/Oasis system. This position performs a variety of duties all designed to ensure the Omnia/Oasis database is accurate and up-to-date and optimize processes to maintain data integrity.  

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be the go-to address personal internally for all address-related issues in Omnia/Oasis, including interactions with Marketing, IT, Engineering, and the Growth team to ensure all addresses are available for build and sale and are entered properly into the billing system.

         -Examine each cabinet to be built, search for and identify and addresses that may require a private   

               access agreement.

         -Research the ‘Private Easement” (PE) addresses and determine the owner of the private 

               easement.  

         -Work with Sales and Marketing to contact and communicate with a PE owner.

         -Work with City officials, Builders and ImOn’s Engineering team to monitor and understand Joint 

               Bury opportunities.

         -Work with City officials to help with the permitting processes for the REAIM builds.

  • Oversee and implement updates of all information in Omnia/Oasis:

         -Maintain address information accuracy as changes and updates are discovered in the field and 

               communicated.

         -Product and pricing information in Omnia/Oasis, including entering new products and updating 

               existing, implementing pricing changes in the system, managing the process and data for 

               tenant upgrade pricing, and other product/pricing data needs as they arise.

         -Other configuration data and key information in the Omnia/Oasis system, working with the      

               vendor, Information Technology, and subject matter experts to ensure an accurate 

               representation of ImOn data in the system. 

         -Understand the processes and workflows for prospecting serviceable addresses.

         -Work with sales management to codify and implement pricing and incentives into the system.

         -Manage 911 plans for ImOn.

         -Be available to provide Omnia/Oasis training for new employees.  

  • Document data change processes and data meaning, and ensure this documentation is kept up to date as the data model evolves over time.
  • Work with field personnel to update data due to conditions on the ground; ensure all physical modifications to the field make it into the database. 
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Promote and exhibit the ImOn brand during all interactions
  • Work flexible hours, which could include evenings and some weekends.

 

 

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • AA in Information Technology, Database Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, being able to develop basic scripts and macros desired.
  • Good research abilities, being able to validate and verify data using third-party tools such as the US Post Office or Google Maps.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with people is a plus
  • Understanding and ability to work with contracts and agreements
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance.
