Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 450 of the nation’s most academically complex colleges and universities to manage their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, and student course search requirements.

We are hiring Software Developers in the following categories: 

C++ Developer: Responsible for researching, designing, coding, testing, and implementing high-quality code in support of Leepfrog’s proprietary software systems. A qualified candidate must have five years of C++ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with relational database management systems and knowledge of SQL is required. Experience in a client-server framework is a must. Knowledge about design patterns and scripting languages is necessary.  A successful candidate should be adept at building, installing, and configuring custom software for various internet applications and specifically a common gateway interface.

Data Visualization Developer:  Using Leepfrog software, the Data Visualization Developer is responsible for compiling real-time data and converting it into visual representations.  They will analyze trends and provide visual displays of the results.  A successful candidate must have a keen design sense/UX experience, a passion for data and data visualization, and the ability to interact with clients using quality customer service.  Experience with all phases of data analysis, cleansing, and staging is a must.  Interest in data pipelines, APIs, and query languages.  Strong background in JavaScript, SQL, and d3.js is required.  Knowledgeable in jQuery, HTML, and CSS preferred.

JavaScript Developer:  We are looking for a Software Developer to design, build and maintain custom and functional web pages for our clients in support of the CourseLeaf suite. A successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of the full web development life cycle, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.  A combination of outstanding Javascript skills and a passion for delivering solid code is a must

All qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or comparable experience in web application development.

Physical Requirements:
Generally, this position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.  Generally, this position is considered sedentary.  Little to no travel is required.
