The University of Northern Iowa is seeking a Programmer Analyst ERP

Duties Include:

  • Develops computer code from general specifications into language appropriate to the assignment
  • Consults with users or senior staff to define subsystem or program requirements
  • Develops and uses sample input data to test accuracy of programs
  • Reviews and analyzes system/program problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field required.
  • Spring 2022 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date.
  • Candidates able to start by February 1, 2022 are preferred.
  • An Associate’s degree in an IT related field plus at least three years of IT related experience may be substituted.
  • An understanding of administrative uses of computing services, working knowledge of SQL, knowledge or exposure to a relational DBMS, and course work or practical experience with modern programming languages required.
  • Student experience will be considered. Experience with UNIX operating systems, Oracle DBMS, and Oracle PL/SQL, OBIEE, Peopletools, and familiarity with University standards and practices preferred.
