Role Overview
This position is for a multi media specialist with expertise in digital technology who will work collaboratively on various learning requests and marketing material for the Knowledge & Change Strategies and strategic business units.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute visual and digital aspects of marketing material and training courses for initiatives within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering & Technology (AME&T).
  • Work closely with the Learning Lead on instructional design strategies and initiatives. 
  • Assist in the strategy and implementation of knowledge management, learning and change management practices across AME&T. 
  • Responsible for sustainment of Video Central for uploading videos, creating and managing channels in Video Central
  • Collaborate with customers on various learning requests (storyboards, content prep for video creation, basic layout) to establish a quality training format (Video, online self study)
  • Responsible for managing the studio, including equipment upgrades, training others to use the equipment, etc.
  • Conduct interview shoots, use studio equipment (lights, teleprompter, microphones, etc.) and capture B-roll footage
  • Assist with Augmented and Virtual Reality creation 
  • Combine Infographics/design to conform to Collins Aerospace standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:

  • Knowledge of the techniques, equipment and skills used in the creation of digital photographs, videos, photo and video archives, visual presentations, and audio recording
  • Candidate will be fluent in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understanding of Augmented and Virtual Reality platforms
  • Experience with MS Sharepoint a plus
  • Candidate will have experience with video and audio production techniques.
  • Candidate will have experience with various cameras (360 degree camera and still image…)
  • Digital Learning development (eLearning authoring tools) - basic placement of footage and text
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and email
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to facilitate and present to various audiences up to and including executive leaders
  • High organizational skills 
  • Ability to tell a story through a combination of text, photos, and video 
  • Understanding of basic knowledge Management principles (transfer of best practices, building communities, knowledge sharing practices, knowledge bases, etc. )
  • Willingness to continue to learn


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop and Illustrator highly desired
  • Augmented and Virtual Reality experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Digital Learning Development

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
