Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background and credential check. 
Position Responsibilities: 
Provides advanced configuration and installation of IT hardware in small- and large-scale IT projects that are on as well as off campus, including our UI Community Connect sites; participates in project administration, inventory management, and schedule management.
Position Qualifications:       
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
·       Experience, typically 1-3 years, supporting workstations running Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2013/2016.
·       Experience leading IT related projects
·       Professional experience working with desktop hardware and software in a managed workstation environment.
·       Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with a diverse population of technical and non-technical customers.
·       Experience working in an IT Service Center environment
·       Ability to move and install clinical systems device/computer/printer.
·       A valid driver’s license and must meet the University of Iowa Fleet Services Program rules and regulations..
Desirable Qualifications
·       Experience with Microsoft OneNote
·       Experience with Electronic Health Records and interfaced systems.
·       Demonstrated ability to work independently
·       Comfortable working with various powered and non-powered hand tools.
·       Experience with wireless networking and security.
·       Experience working in a Health Care IT environment.
·       Experience utilizing ITIL frameworks.
·       Excellent organizational skills
