Job Statement
The Database Analyst is responsible for supporting a data platform that would support the growing data and advanced analytic needs of MediRevv. This role will develop and support data processes for easier, more efficient, and more accurate data retrieval.

Job Duties
An effective Database Analyst will exemplify the MediRevv Mindset by helping the organization on a whole achieve balance between partners, people, and performance.
  • Create and maintain ETL processes to create data pipelines and aggregate data from multiple sources.
  • Gather and normalize collection information from a variety of data sources, including internal systems and client data.
  • Troubleshoot data anomalies across data sources and outputs.
  • Implement business logic within data flow structure using stored procedures.
  • Optimize index and organization strategies within data sets.
  • Build data flows into cloud reporting software, staging with business logic for easier analysis.
  • Continuously assess and improve data management, collection and reporting processes
  • Monitor scheduled batch jobs and resolve issues.
  • Assist with implementation of projects, including requirements gathering, detailed design, configuration, testing, data preparation, training, and conversion

Job Requirements – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A successful candidate must have proficient knowledge/capabilities in the following areas:
  • Foundational understanding of MSSQL and other relational databases, including stored procedures.
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other relevant ETL tools.
  • Technical understanding of data models, database development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of database methodology to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bonus Skill: Experience with R, Python or other languages used for statistical computing.
