Position Responsibilities: 
 
Provide a unified presentation of HCIS supported technologies in all phases of a project.  Projects run will be medium in size, to large in scale and budget.  Collaborate closely with senior leadership and peer teams to promote collaboration and consistent service delivery.  Embrace the adoption of best practices, centralized IT management, standardization, documentation, customer service excellence and the continual improvement approach to IT.  Exercise all workflows while maintaining state and institutional policies and alignment with organizational objectives.  Lead projects that will include performing work in clinical, critical care, research and departmental environments, interacting with all levels of personnel, patients and visitors.  A Senior Project Implementation Consultant will regularly flex work schedule to ensure effective time is spent on project timelines and project timelines are kept.  Communication with direct management is essential and crucial to the success of the work balancing.
Position Qualifications:
 
Education Required
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
 
Experience Requirements
 
  • Experience (typically 3-5 years) supporting workstations running Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2010/2013/2016/365.
  • Experience (typically 3-5years) running small to large IT related projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with desktop hardware and software in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with a diverse population of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to move and install IT equipment.
  • Experience working effectively within a team and independently.
Desirable Qualifications
 
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to disarm escalated situations with all levels of personnel.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and/or LEAN principles.
  • Experience triaging risks associated with non-standardized hardware and software configurations.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and align diverse talent with assigned work.
  • Experience working in a health care or health industry environment.
