ACP, Inc. has an excellent opportunity available for a Technical Support Specialist. ACP, Inc. is a division of the ALI Group and a leader in manufacturing and designing commercial high-speed and microwave ovens used in some of your favorite restaurants! Position is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa but consideration could be given to non-Iowa based candidates working a hybrid work schedule.

 

The Technical Support Specialist will support service delivery related goals and activities including providing technical support (primarily via phone, but could also be on-line or via email) to field service technicians on the repair of ACP high-speed cooking equipment. May also support the service delivery team by registering product, verifying product covered by warranty, troubleshooting, programming, dispatching service, or providing field service feedback on service or quality opportunities to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Requires high school or equivalent education.
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years related technical service experience, with a technical background including electrical and mechanical experience, training or education.
  • Previous field service technician background in appliance or equipment repair (non-IT) desirable.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations skills including the ability to demonstrate professionalism and patience working with servicers and customers.
  • Strong PC proficiency including MS Office.
