Airport Groundskeeper II

Provides labor and technical horticulture and maintenance services for airport grounds, buildings, and equipment.  Performs lead worker responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in groundskeeping, mechanical maintenance and equipment operation, electrical, mechanical and building maintenance/repair.
• AA degree in horticulture or related field, preferred or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain valid Iowa Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with appropriate endorsements, Iowa Public Applicator’s License for turf and ornamental category, and Backflow prevention license within probationary period.
• Ability to pass and maintain security background check as required by Transportation Security Regulations.
• Available for recall during non-duty hours for emergencies and other required duties.

Salary: $20.39/HR
