RESPONSIBILITIES
Teamwork, Support, and Process

  • Provide account management for key contacts of Fortune 500 companies on a nation-wide basis, developing long-term relationships and ensuring client needs and objectives are consistently met.
  • Execute Individual Sales Plan.
  • Engage with current and prospective clients through onsite meetings, regular phone and email communications, and annual client seminars.
  • Support Client/Project Managers by identifying needs and developing solutions to expand current services within an existing client base.
  • Develop proposals and estimates.
  • Serve as a client-company liaison to coordinate schedules, ensure deliverables are developed in a manner that meet or exceed client expectations, and are completed within project timelines.
  • Create and execute client account management plans.
  • Active in all phases of client development, beginning with the Qualify phase (including cold calls and other telemarketing-related activities) and throughout the Benchmark Sales Process (Discovery, Demo, Proposal, Follow-up).

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical capacity/ability.
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter with a passion for sales and relationship management.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel (amount of travel time varies according to business needs).

Communication

  • Encourages flow of communication and fosters relationships throughout the company and with our clients.
  • Communicates with teammates and leadership to effectively balance workload.

SPECIFICATIONS
Required:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field.
  • Prior experience in a sales relationship/account management role (minimum of 3 years).
  • Able to work in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Benchmark uses Deltek Vision.
  • Experience working in a related field/industry (engineering, construction, architecture, professional services, etc.).
  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
