Sales Development Representative


Collective Data is rapidly expanding and is seeking a Law Enforcement Sales Development Representative to drive new business. The ideal candidate will have Law Enforcement and/or Government Sales experience and the ability to research, communicate, and qualify prospects for the top of the sales funnel while beginning the process for long-term mutually beneficial relationships.



  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities through research that leads to identifying key players and decision-makers to generate interest
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls (roughly 50% of your time), e-mails, social mediums, and video outreach
  • Present Collective Data to potential prospects while seeking to understand the prospect’s needs to begin a conversation that leads to suggesting a potential solution and demonstration
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities within the target market
  • Team with strategic partners to continue the building of a pipeline at the top of the funnel
  • Establish meetings and / or demos between prospects and our experienced sales team
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and ability to speak both from the business side and at a high level on the technical side
  • Balance between assertive and collaborative to guide the client to solutions that benefit them and are in within the parameters of the software, describing the pros and cons
  • Successful experience in working with the Law Enforcement community and/or Government sales to deliver high-quality presentations and information to prospects and clients
  • Experienced with CRM solutions
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and as a team
  • Able to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines
  • Able to multi-task, determine priority of assignments, and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
  • Able to promptly and professionally respond to emails, phone calls and other communications
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized


Preferred Experience:

  • Associate degree and experience with the Law Enforcement community and/or Government Sales.
