JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Remote

Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Operations, the Commercial Operations, SFDC Team Lead will take charge of creating new ways to optimize and improve the commercial flywheel. and take full advantage of Salesforce and all its data.  This role will improve business processes, successfully implement new features, manage the SFDC project roadmap, and get people excited to use Salesforce by driving best practices and providing proper training to show others how efficient and effective their sales role is when using Salesforce.

Essential Duties

  • Create, define, and manage Salesforce.com projects and their requirements

  • Evaluate existing and future Salesforce release features for business benefit and prescribe rollout plans, including socialization, training, communication, testing and release management.

  • Manage all SFDC workflows, dashboards, and processes for the commercial organization

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Train commercial associates and other commercials leaders on how to use SFDC as required to help expand knowledge and adoption of Salesforce’s capabilities.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with key strategic commercial leaders, executive staff, and internal customers to ensure all projects are globally driven and continuously improve the seller experience.

  • Support and drive SFDC projects and kaizens, including documentation of business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design and coordination of testing with business users

  • Provide first-level support to the field, including issue identification and resolution/escalation

  • Provide ad hoc training to Salesforce users as required to help expand knowledge and adoption of Salesforce’s capabilities

  • Creation of SFDC related sales trainings and key process improvements that improve the sales user experience

Experience Requirements

•           Bachelor’s Degree required

Professional Experience

  • 2-3 years of direct Salesforce experience required; SFDC reporting experience preferred

  • Previous sales or commercial experience preferred

  • Self-motivation. You must be self- motivated, driven to see results, and be intrigued using data to inform decisions.

Travel Requirements

Occasional = Up to 20% of time

Physical Demand Requirements

Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to a minimal amount frequently

Visual Acuity

  • Work requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.

  • Ability to accurately read measurements on equipment.

  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
