 TrueNorth has an immediate opening for a Sales Marketing Specialist to join the Risk Management team. The Sales Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth of the Risk Management division, specialty segments and regional locations. The position will strategize, develop and implement sales marketing strategies and underlying action plans, to drive activity and brand awareness for the Risk Management business units and production teams. The Sales Marketing Specialist is critical component to Risk Management's growth strategy by ensuring awareness, adoption, consistency and dynamic utilization of Sales Marketing Plans, Assets and Processes across the division. The position is responsible for content creation, packaging of materials, digital strategy efforts, management of touch programs, and other Sales Marketing related activities.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as key resource within the Risk Management division by partnering with leadership and sales teams to formulate strategy and execute sales marketing plans and activity
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales teams and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translates into thorough and detailed divisional, specialty and regional sales marketing plans 
  • Develop and manage annual sales marketing plans at the division, specialty and regional levels to drive consistency and follow-through of activity in partnership with sales teams 
  • Work with leadership and sales teams to execute touch programs and campaigns through established project marketing and management tools 
  • Manage and direct public relations campaigns to include but not limited to press releases, social media, webinars, events and associations 
  • Maintain consistent divisional branding in alignment with corporate brand standards and manage content of all marketing materials 
  • Analyze and evaluate current sales marketing processes, investments, solutions and make recommendations for utilization and efficiencies  
Required Experience & Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience is required 
  • Minimum of five years experience in marketing, sales or business development role is required 
  • Experience working across Sales and Operations teams to ensure consistent delivery of technology solutions (CRM, etc.) and processes is strongly preferred 
  • Prior experience with creation of messaging, marketing materials, campaigns, sales tools for presentations, etc. is required 
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills - must be able to manage projects and time independently 
  • Treats external and internal clients professionally at all times; collaborate respectfully and effectively across teams
