Skogman Homes, Eastern Iowa’s largest home builder, is looking for the best and most talented new home sales individuals to represent one of our communities in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor. Start your real estate career with base pay plus commission alongside the best New Homes Sales Consultants in the area.  Our sales staff sells more new homes than any other sales staff in Eastern Iowa. Skogman Homes has sold over 100 homes a year for over 30 years.  

On average our New Homes Sales Consultants earn a commission of $4,000-$6,000 per sale.

Position Summary:
New Homes Sales Consultant’s primary role is to capture and convert customers that walk into our model homes by utilizing our sales process This position would provide coverage for model homes candidates would need to work most Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 1-5pm.
Responsibilities:
  • New Homes Sales Consultant also assists in driving traffic to the model homes through marketing initiatives 
  • Utilize the training received to greet and qualify prospects, demonstrate the features and benefits of the area and community, overcome objections, create urgency and close customers 
  • Implement the Skogman Homes OPS Cycle™ to optimize your community operation and maximize the selling opportunity
  • Drive traffic and enhance community awareness through events and promotions at our model homes.
  • Manage and maintain a customer follow up system and employ CRM to report traffic, marketing awareness, community inventory, sales, and closing activity
  • Work closely with the client’s operating, construction, service, and lending teams to create a seamless and smooth sales transaction
  • Assist in managing social media accounts to drive brand awareness  
Requirements
  • Real Estate license will be required but is not required to apply. 100% of our New Homes Sales Consultant did not have a real estate license when they started. Skogman Homes will cover 100% of any Real Estate Costs and you will have 120 days to secure your license.  You will be fully compensated during the 120 days.
