We have immediate openings for a Driver Recruiter to help find new talent to drive for our company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Driver Recruiters manage the sourcing, selection, offer negotiation, and closing components within a complete life-cycle recruiting process. Utilizing sales, research, and networking skills, the position will require the proactive identification of active and passive talent, through effective and creative utilization of sourcing tools.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate in discussing careers on the phone, someone who is able to work independently, deliver results, has high energy and is able to proficiently use technology.
Additional duties may include,
  • Develops and maintains a full understanding of the local driver labor market
  • Confers with management and supervisors to identify staffing needs and requirements
  • Develops and maintains relationships with drivers through a variety of sources, electronically and face to face locally.
  • Develops networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities
  • Sources, prescreens, interviews applicants 
  • Performs/coordinates reference and background checks on applicants
  • Maintain standards as outlined by CRST International policy and standards in regards to the hiring of drivers
  • Explore creative methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Conduct telephone and personal interviews daily with prospective candidates.
  • Complete background checks including personal records, MVR, and DAC reports.
  • Review and process applications of prospective hires and determine if the applicant is qualified.
  • Complete pre-hire files and paperwork on applicants.
  • Maintain complete files on non-hired contractors, as appropriate.
  • Explain the company’s operating policy and safety standards and work with drivers or applicants who present issues.
  • Set up and manage travel arrangements for new hires.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: 
  • 6-12 months of previous experience in a related field and customer service experience is required
  • A high school diploma or GED is required and a degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills are needed
