Quincy Recycle, a leader in industrial recycling services, seeks a Sales Representative at our Marion, IA location to join our growing organization. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective business opportunities for our services. This position is also responsible for effective account management and relationship development after the sale. Those with a successful outside sales history and an eagerness to learn the Quincy Recycle sales process will be fully autonomous in how they reach their goals and will have the benefit of working with our stellar reputation in the industry. The right candidate will have 2 plus years of sales experience and will be willing to perform sales activities necessary to grow business.

Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. The job requires getting things done quickly and handling a variety of activities. The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style.

Prior experience in our industry is beneficial but not required; we are willing to train those with ambition. To the right Sales Representative, we offer:
  • First year on-target total compensation of $40,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience and sales success
  • After two years, the opportunity to transition to a highly incentivized, commission-focused role with unlimited earning potential and typical compensation in the six figure range

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Representative:
  • Daily prospecting
  • Meet and exceed weekly sales activity goals
  • Gather accurate and detailed account information
  • Communicate effectively with recyclers and peers
  • Build a team partnership with an Account & Logistics Coordinator

Requirements for the Sales Representative:
  • 2 plus years of successful B2B sales experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Availability for up to 50% overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Exposure to utilizing CRM systems is preferred
