Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will become a consultant for our customer's office technology needs. You will create long-term professional business relationships to maintain the customer's needs are being met utilizing our products and services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call or visit potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Prospect, negotiate, & close agreements.
  • Interact and coordinate with other staff members in other departments.
  • Manage time & deadlines.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • All of the above experience is preferred, but training is provided. With the right attitude & drive, no experience may be needed!

Position Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license (good driving record preferred).
  • Professional appearance
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Must be able to work independently for general calls or as a team for large projects.
