Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 270 of the nation’s most academically complex colleges and universities to manage their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, and student course search requirements.
The Conference and Event Coordinator will assist the Event Marketing Manager with day to day duties. This position is responsible for all organizational aspects of the company’s participation at 45+ conferences, and annual Leepfrog User Conference. This will include some creative work to make a strong presence in booth and marketing materials used at conferences, and modest physical work to coordinate the shipping of packages. It will be this position’s responsibility to ensure that everything is managed to meet all deadlines.
  • Manage the company’s preparation and participation in conferences and trade shows, to meet deadlines and budget.
  • Assist in managing the company’s annual Leepfrog User Conference (approx. 400 attendees)
  • Prepare which materials will be needed for each event.
  • Prepare and ship materials to each of our 45+ conferences, and annual user conference.
  • Attend annual user conference to assist with on-site preparation and registration.
  • Evaluate conferences for performance and return on investment and identify ways to improve conference results.
  • Ensure a strong, impactful on-site presence at conferences including booth back drop, table material, banner stands, and ancillary marketing materials, etc.
  • Use CVENT, our event management software for the annual conference.
  • Prepare checklists and summaries to attendees of key information for conferences.
  • Work with hotels and vendors who supply conference space or marketing materials to us.
  • Manage a wide range of organizational work to prescribed deadlines.
  • Ensure the attendees of an event leave with a positive experience.
  • Comply with and enforce Leepfrog established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:

A minimum of three (3) years' prior event planning experience is required. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must possess competency with Windows OS, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Firefox, and other computer applications. Project management and customer service skills are required. Experience with HTML, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator is a plus. Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
The ideal candidate must be able to operate in an entrepreneurial, small company environment with the ability to adjust to client schedules.
Physical Requirements:
The Conference and Event Coordinator will work at a desk using office equipment and computers. Occasional travel is required (Approximately 5-10%). Periodically, the employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will be occasionally exposed to dust. The ability to climb a ladder, stoop, kneel, push/pull heavy objects is necessary.
