We are looking for an experienced National Sales Director to lead and manage the promising sales growth and brand expansion of Life Line Emergency Vehicles.

About the Role:

The National Director of Sales reports directly to the CEO and will support the strategic growth of Life Line Emergency Vehicles. We need an amazing customer development leader, one who understands customer needs and requirements and can position Life Line as the preferred choice for those needs.

Here’s what You’ll Accomplish:

  • Create plans and strategies for developing new business and achieving company goals.
  • Manage sales, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth.
  • Drive results and create a culture of success for on-going business and goal achievement.
  • Cultivate and manage key customer relationships while participating in strategic opportunities.
  • Grow a strong and accountable national dealer network.
  • Work with executive leadership team to oversee and manage the preparation of strategies, annual budgets and P&L to meet defined objectives.
  • Hire and develop sales staff and create compensation and incentive programs to propel their success.
  • Be on top of relevant market trends, client needs, expectations and opportunities as well as shifts in the competitive landscape. Monitor customer, dealer, market and competitor activity to better inform sales strategy.

  • Proven track record of delivering results in a customer development capacity.
  • 10+ years of sales and marketing experience with 5+ years in a supervisory position.
  • Experienced in managing a distribution dealer network.
  • Extremely organized, dependable and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a hands-on, faced-paced environment. You’re a multi-tasker.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making ability.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Able to travel for customer and dealer meetings and to develop key relationships. You’ll need to spend considerable time at Life Line’s corporate headquarters in Sumner, Iowa
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent work experience.
