Regional Sales Director

As the Regional Sales Director you’ll get to help potential clients solve their problems. You’ll manage Geonetric’s sales efforts by seeking out new sales opportunities and developing relationships in order to promote Geonetric’s products and services in a way that adds value to the client. You’ll lead prospective clients through the sales process from phone calls and webinars to onsite visits. By creating relationships with potential clients you’ll get to tell them (and then sell them) on why Geonetric is the solution to their problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
While you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:
•Identify and contact potential healthcare clients based on market research, client referrals, tradeshow leads, webinar data, and cold calling
•Gather information from potential clients about their needs and qualify leads based on that information
•Schedule, coordinate, and present sales presentations to potential clients, including C-Suite executives and committee structures
•Respond to RFPs from potential clients, collaborating with the proposal writer to ensure accuracy in regards to deliverables, timeframes, and pricing
•Assist in negotiating pricing and scope, working closely with contract administrator on contract and legalities
•Maintain a strong relationship with potential clients, addressing any questions and concerns in order to successfully close the sale
•Become knowledgeable about Geonetric’s products and services, success stories, market differentiators, and unique value proposition
•Communicate persuasively via phone and email to relay product and service information with prospective clients in order to build Geonetric’s awareness, credibility, value, and client base
•Maintain integrity of contact database by ensuring data is accurate and mailing lists are valid
•Participate in Geonetric tradeshows, including setting up the display, staffing the exhibit, and establishing client leads
•Participate in the management and promotion of marketing campaigns, including educational webinars and mailings
•Manage stages of sales pipeline, ensuring a full pipeline to meet business goals
•Close an average of two to three deals per year successfully
•Ensure smooth hand-off of new clients to implementation team
Education and Experience
•Bachelors’ Degree required
•5+ years of related sales experience or experience working with the public required
•Previous experience in healthcare preferred
•Previous phone experience preferred
•Strong oral and written communication skills required; including phone skills and presentation skills
•Basic knowledge of website design preferred
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
•Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite level executives and within a group or committee structure required
•Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills required

•Frequent overnight travel to potential client sites required
