This customer service (external/internal) and performance focused Leadership position is responsible for all aspects of our retail grocery store operations.  The Store Team Leader oversee all Team Members and directs and facilitates developing skills to effectively and consistently deliver operational success and promote the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Working Environment:

The Store Team Leader works in a retail, prepared foods, and office environment. Responsibilities will include a combination of oversight, development, training, and evaluation of team members at all levels of the location. There will be extended periods of standing, walking, computer, phone, and office requirements. Extensive direct and interactive communication with customers, administrative support, and team members on the retail service floor and prepared foods areas will be a daily occurrence.

In this team based position you will promote a high level of customer focused service for our shoppers and maintain a respectful, safe and productive environment for our valued team members. Exceptional store execution will be a daily expectation demonstrated through exceeding retail standard and maintaining a clean and well maintained facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field
  • 3 years minimum experience in a leadership or equivalent role in a grocery, food service, or retail environment with a demonstrated record of success
  • Financial Literacy - understanding of financial reports and functions and the ability to interpret information to achieve results
  • Demonstrated retail customer focused service experience and skills
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing and evaluating goal based training and development plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify priorities and efficiently perform tasks and meet goals consistently
  • Communication Skills - ability to read, write and speak English to ensure clear instructions and comprehension
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced creative environment with a diverse team

This position requires an excellent tenure and attendance history, a committed schedule to include opening, midday, and closing shifts as well as weekend and holidays on a regular basis.

The Store Team Leader reports to the General Manager.

This is a full time, exempt position with a benefits package with an annual salary of $52,000 negotiable based on experience and tenure.
