Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center seeks a full-time Chef/Kitchen Manager. This position serves our ecospirituality mission by creating and presenting delicious, healthy meals using primarily local and organic ingredients. It is full-time, starting at $21 per hour with benefits. Qualifications include experience as a chef/manager, creativity, a focus on hospitality, attention to detail, ability to plan and manage kitchen operations, and a desire to lead a collaborative team.

We are especially interested in applicants who are excited about the opportunity to work with our land care team to plan and personally engage with growing and harvesting vegetables, fruits and edible landscaping for use in the kitchen. We actively recycle and compost.

Hours vary, depending on our events schedule. It is especially busy May-November. This position oversees a staff of two.
