MobileDemand is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support continuing business expansion. The Supply Chain Manager ensures that the items and services for our products are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements. The Supply Chain Manager must able to adapt to the company’s entrepreneurial culture and bring a mature presence in the process.

JOB DESCRIPTION: List principal responsibilities, duties and tasks of job:
Materials management (Customer Fulfillment):
•Procurement, assembly, test, and logistics of all company products in line with all customer order requirements
•Coordinate and communicate with Asia office general manager all customer fulfillment, logistics, quality and return to vendor requirements
•Development and management of vendor relationships including international travel as required
•Understand what a capacity plan is and how it works
•Knowledge of BOMS, Work Orders, Assembly Builds (with sub-assemblies) and material forecasts
•Experience and understanding of inventory control/management systems and ERP systems
•Strong understanding of financial impact of inventory transactions
•PPV and IPV
•General Ledger Impact
•Monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory management / cycle counting to required accuracy, turns, scrap, and obsolete metrics
•Develop and execute strategies to introduce new products into operations to meet supply and quality expectations of the organization and customers with Operations Manager
•Management of product life cycles to handle effective transition to replacement products and maintain adequate service parts for extended life cycle repair with Operations Manager
•Management of on-time delivery in line with customer requirements and company goals.
•Management of material and labor COGS to company goals including ongoing cost reduction programs
•Management of product quality / warranty programs and performance goals
•Development of, and management to, an approved departmental operations and capital budget
•Consistent and complete reporting of department performance in line with company reporting requirements

Position Specifications: Skills, experience and education required to perform this position (Equivalent job experience might be substituted for educational degree):
Three to five years of proven supply chain management / procurement experience in the computing or directly related industry preferred and including:
•Proven cost reduction performance
•Proven vendor development and relationship performance, including off-shore / Asian relationships
•Ability to manage product costing system
•Proven delivery, product quality, and warranty performance metrics
•Proficiency with an online ordering system - NetSuite
