Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehab is seeking a full time CMA to work in our specialty practice.  

This position is eligible for a signing bonus!

Duties include but not limited to:  

• Prepare patients for physician visits and procedures
• Provide care for patients post procedure until discharge
• Prepare injections, enter orders for testing, and follow up on test results
• Patient education on upcoming procedures, medications, etc. per physician’s protocol
• Send referrals for prior authorizations for treatment and diagnostic testing
• Screen calls for physician and answer patient questions  

Requirements: 

• Must have current certification; current CPR certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days.  
• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.  
• The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills and must work well with team members.
• Must also have a high level of comfort in working with and become proficient in computer systems.
