Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s is seeking a full time CNA to join a team of dedicated providers in our Department of Hematology & Oncology.

Duties include but not limited to: 

• All aspects of direct patient care; rooming patients and prepping for exams
• Scheduling & tracking of radiology exams and follow up appointments
• Coordination of ancillary and treatment appointments
• Insurance benefit prior authorizations
• Stocking and maintenance of exam rooms
• Perform scribe duties (as needed) accurately, thoroughly, and timely documentation of medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician or health care provider in accordance with PCI policy
• Actively aid in the collection and organization of data for physician quality reporting system and quality initiatives to increase the patient compliance and improved outcomes 

Requirements:

• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.  
• Must be or have the ability to become proficient in keyboard skills and medical terminology as well as a high level of comfort in working with and become proficient in computer systems.
• We will train the right candidate.  
• The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills and must work well with team members.  
• Must be a Certified Nurse Aide/Assistant.
• Must have current CPR or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
