Nursing (CMA / LPN / RN) – Osteoporosis

Join the best team in healthcare! Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, one of the leading multi-specialty physician groups in the region, is seeking a full time CMA/LPN/RN to work with our Osteoporosis Specialist in our busy Bone Health/Orthopaedic Department.

Duties:

  • Individuals will be responsible for preparing patients for and assisting with examinations, giving injections and medications, maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient data.
  • Will also return calls to patients, call in prescriptions and ensure that all essential lab work (including bone scans etc.) is available prior to examination.
  • Will assist department as needed with casting, triaging phone calls, dressing wounds and incisions, preparing injections and medications, and ordering labs/x-rays.

Requirements:

  • The leading candidates will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, reliability, and will possess excellent communication skills. 
  • Must become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system. 
  • CPR certification required. 
  • Current nursing license/certification required.
