Streets and Refuse/Recycling Worker

Under limited supervision performs manual labor associated with street maintenance and solid waste/recycling collection.

40 hours per week Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. (weekends and nights required typically for snow removal when necessary) See the complete job description of all duties and requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Iowa Commercial Driver’s License Class A with air brake requirement and tanker endorsement within a reasonable time frame set forth by the Superintendent.

Special Requirements:

Must live within 23 miles of the Coralville City Limits after hire. Must pass a post offer pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must participate in the CDL random drug and alcohol testing program after hire.
