Laboratory Technician
City of North Liberty
The City of North Liberty has an immediate opening for a full-time Laboratory Technician at the City’s Grade III Nano-Filtration Water Treatment Plant.
This position requires complete understanding of laboratory instrumentation and lab procedures, together with the ability to keep accurate, detailed records and follow quality control/quality assurance procedures.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and three years of experience in water chemistry and analytical procedures preferred.
- Ability to perform semi-advanced mathematical calculations and advanced Excel skills required.
- Must be self-motivated, have a high energy level and live within 15 miles of the North Liberty corporate city limits.
Post-offer physical, drug screen and background screen required.
Job Benefits:
Salary Range $49,629 to $53,269. DOQ. Excellent benefit package.
