 Construction Publications, Inc. creates both print and digital content for manufacturers and distributors of heavy equipment.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Edit and proofread all content created by CPI as well as customer supplied content. Verify/fact check against transcripts and other sources. This will be your main responsibility.

Also, you will oversee and:

• Manage customer corrections to copy
• Write the Table of Contents for magazines and add captions to photos
• Proofread screenshots of video titles
• Edit, write and post social media content
• Route and manage corrections to dummies
• Pull documents into InDesign
• Prepare PDFs for publishing online magazines
• Log content into spreadsheets
• Possibly maintain and generate mailing lists

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• Extensive writing and editing skills with solid knowledge of AP style guidelines
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Adobe programs, especially Acrobat DC and InDesign
• Knowledge of Excel
• Time management skills
• Positive, approachable attitude
• College degree
