Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Purpose:  This leadership role is to supply constant, sales-qualified opportunities to regional clinics through the creation and execution of a companywide multi-channel marketing plan.

Specific Duties:         

  • Create and manage a strategic plan for all traditional and digital advertising for the company’s multiple statewide locations with the company’s President.
  • Write, plan, design and direct design for current and future marketing campaigns and materials in both traditional and digital media.
  • Manage all internal communications, including regular maintenance of IowaHearing.com and the company intranet.
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages for WordPress sites.
  • Effective creation and management of paid search campaigns.
  • Maintain directory listings for each of the company’s locations across the internet.
  • Report monthly on the efficacy of digital marketing efforts.
  • Manage a defined annual $600k marketing budget for the company.
  • In collaboration with a hired consultant, direct 10 hearing health experts, Audiologists and Doctors of Audiology in relationship and disease state marketing to regional primary care physicians
  • In concert with the company’s hearing health experts and their regional teams, design and implement regional marketing strategies for each of the company’s locations.
  • Build relationships with area and statewide businesses, presenting and leading hearing aid discount plans for their companies’ employees and the businesses’ constituents.
  • Regularly meet with Management team to discuss opportunities and move the company’s marketing plan forward.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Technical Competencies:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Graphic Design using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Website Management using WordPress
  • Inbound Marketing using HubSpot
  • Server Maintenance using Amazon Web Services
  • Paid Search advertising using Google Ads, Bing Ads and Yelp
  • Social Media Marketing using Facebook

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years marketing experience
  • 3 years proven sales experience 
  • 3 plus years web development experience

Education:  

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Required Travel: 

  • 25% (Required)
  • Available during Iowa State Fair 

Work Location:  

  • Office on-site at the home office in North Liberty, IA.
  • Ability to work from other clinic locations

Job Type:  Full-time

Pay Range:  $50,000 - $65,000 per year
