Collective Data is rapidly expanding and seeks to fill a position for Marketing Manager with a driven and proven marketing professional. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy development and successful execution of all marketing-related functions in support of Collective Data’s goals for accelerated growth. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, training, and managing all marketing functions to achieve the company objectives of sales, growth, profitability, and visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing message and position consistent with the company direction. 


  • Develop strategies and tactics to create brand recognition and drive qualified leads into the pipeline.

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation through to execution.

  • Strategically experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, event management, publicity, social media, SEO and other digital strategies, lead generation campaigns, performance analysis, and much more.

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target audiences.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key agencies and vendors.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget.

  • Measure and report performance of marketing investments, gain insight, and assess against goals.

  • Work collaboratively with the other team members to attain the company goals and objectives.

  • Manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience BA/BS Degree in Marketing or related field.

  • 5-7 years in progressive Marketing roles, along with the potential and drive for continued growth.

  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising marketing strategies to educate, engage, and motivate action.

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad-words.

  • Experience with or solid understanding of market research, including competitor analysis.

  • Comfortable working with numbers, analyzing metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

  • Good sense of aesthetics and a passion for compelling copy that conveys value and brand effectively to constituents.

  • Up to date with latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

  • Experienced with WordPress, Adobe Suite, and use of email platforms such as Mail Chimp.

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work both independently and as a team.

  • Able to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines.

  • Able to multi-task, determine priority of assignments, and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.

  • Able to promptly and professionally respond to emails, phone calls and other communications.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the software or technology industry.

  • Experience in marketing multiple products and/or brands, meeting the needs of different industries.
