Project / Marketing  Coordinator McCord  Holdings, Inc is a small biotech company in Coralville,  IA  doing big things!  We are on the leading edge of innovative product development, with a sole focus on helping people feel better.  We continue to make strides with groundbreaking research,  and we are looking for an addition to our team to manage and be responsible for a variety of projects.  As the Project / Marketing Coordinator at McCord  Holdings  Inc., you will be responsible for managing projects of varying magnitude and scope by working with multiple departments  that may include management, marketing, science, as well as our outside vendors and distributors.
This job will also include managing the art files, assisting with graphic design, and coordinating marketing efforts.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensures project/project-­related risks are managed in accordance with the company’s initiatives and principles. 
  • Interacts with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects.
  • Establishes project scope and budget by studying strategic business drivers; discover and validate business and technical requirements and parameters; obtain input from subject­matter experts; examine and recommend changes to current business practice
  • Participate and lead the organization of any marketing or promotional events.
  • Self-­starter who defines the business problem and primary objectives of new projects. Identifies and validate the key business requirements.
  • Implements business solutions by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; collaborating and coordinating requirements with interested departments; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; and responding to team members' concerns.
  • Defines and documents processes in order to drive continuous improvement to processes via process measurement/metrics.
  • Accomplishes work requirements by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-­service standards; identifying work process improvements.
  • Maintain art files throughout file management system.
  • Manage current art such as: product labels, one-­sheets, digital and print marketing, website images, online shopping sites, and distributor materials. Ensure updates are reflected in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and deliver press releases and media relations content.
  • Coordinate and plan product printing needs, artwork versions, etc, with vendors and product manufacturers.
  • Effectively coordinate overall, implementation, scheduling and completion of specific marketing projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, compliance and goals.
  • Collaborate with brand manager, graphic designer, digital marketing, quality assurance, purchasing, content and vendors to communicate, update and delivery all marketing objectives, and ensure cohesiveness throughout marketing campaigns.
  • Work cohesively with graphic designer by implementing creative and design updates and changes to all of the company's marketing, product images, etc.

Requirements:
  • 1-­2  years  experience  and/or  diploma  in  graphic  design,  marketing,  or  project  coordinator  roles Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Marketing,  Business  Management,  or  related  field   
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills to effectively maintain company workflow and production. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail, effective process improvement, problem solving, and teamwork skills required, as well as solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exhibit solid management, leadership skills, and diplomacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience with graphic design and creation of marketing materials.
  • Detail-­oriented with excellent follow-­up, budgeting, and time-management skills.
  • Recognizes problemsor situations that are new or without clear precedent.
  • Evaluates alternatives and finds solutions using a systematic, multi-­step approach.
  • Develops improvementsand innovations to enhance performance.
  • Identifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist.
  • Works cross-­functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
  • Analyzes decisions and actions for their support of the larger area's strategic direction.
  • Works with senior management to resolve problems that are more complex.
  • Ability to work ina fast-­paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.
  • Proficient with MAC computers and Microsoft software.   
  • Proficient  with  Adobe  Creative  Suite  (In-­Design,  Photoshop,  Illustrator,  etc.)
