Conceptualizes and documents communication plan needs in support of the recruitment goals for the various target market segments (freshman, transfer, under-represented populations, international, etc.) in the Office of Admissions; collaborates with internal and external staff to meet communication needs, both print and digital, for outreach projects and/or events related to the recruitment of undergraduate international and domestic students and international graduate students; assists with the development and execution of creative concepts and themes for communications; creates and designs select identified promotional materials, ensuring the University and division brands are integrated appropriately; identifies and evaluates emerging channels for targeted communication, with immediate focus on social media; and strategizes, coordinates and develops content for office social media and web presence to ensure the office is meeting the needs of targeted audiences. Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, interactive digital studies or related field plus at least one year of experience managing web and/or print publication production, developing communication strategies, and management and execution of communication plans required. Experience in higher education; experience using social media in a professional setting; and CRM (Salesforce) experience preferred. Student experience will be considered.
