The E-Commerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the ecommerce department of Kent Precision Foods Group (KPFG) with a significant online presence. This role will handle decision-making for websites and online advertising.  The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional departments to deliver on P&L targets by managing merchandise planning, site experience and traffic through a SEO plan.

This position must be able to assess and initiate opportunities for growth and lead/manage the implementation of said duties creating a dynamic customer experience.  They will also be responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies, and for hiring and training the rest of the E-commerce unit. This position is based in Muscatine, Iowa and offers a complete benefits package.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Associate Brand Manager E-Commerce (1)

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the KPFG/Sqwincher E-Commerce P&L through understanding key performance indicators, while ensuring that overall business targets are met.
  • Define and lead E-Commerce strategy for KPFG by collaborating with internal and external contacts to deliver actionable work plans.
  • Develop processes and coordinate communication across all departments connected to the E-Commerce strategy.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing industry to continually develop KPFG’s digital marketing needs.
  • Create customer experience plan in a changing environment.
  • Increase customer awareness through SEO plan while prioritizing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external marketing agencies in order to create a user friendly digital experience that provides relevant onsite customer experiences.
  • Develops annual business plan and budget for e-marketing to maximize resources and online presence.
  • Works with Sales and Marketing to develop seasonal strategies around various product categories.
  • Collaborate with internal website management personnel for any needs connected to E-Commerce.
  • Works with Executive Team to provide insight and progress.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Graphic Design abilities a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License

EXPERIENCE:
5+ years’ experience in sales or marketing with e-commerce understanding
