Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Primus Companies is a leading design-build firm headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and working on projects across the Midwest. Primus currently has a full-time position available as a Marketing & Sales Coordinator.  The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will work closely with the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) and the Sales Team, performing a variety of marketing and administrative sales support and functions for the company. The goal of this role is to support the sales and leadership teams in their efforts to bring business into the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Compose and edit documents, including project proposals, brochures, presentations, agreements, meeting notes, and other written and print materials
  • Provide full administrative support to the CBDO and sales team
  • Monitor CBDO calendar and coordinate appointment setting
  • Utilize and oversee CRM system, including lead management, entering account activity, and report generation
  • Answer and screen incoming sales department calls and respond independently when appropriate
  • Produce, post, and monitor content across company websites and all social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) weekly or as needed
  • Coordinate project photo and video shoots with 3rd party vendors once projects are complete; post photos and videos to website and social media
  • Create and monitor online advertising for company (Google AdWords, Facebook ads)
  • Coordinate miscellaneous advertising and direct mail campaigns by working with associated vendors involved in the specific project
  • Assist in planning, implementation and analysis of company marketing functions, assessing effectiveness of various activities and suggesting modifications when appropriate Coordinate events such as trade shows, exhibitions, and sales training meetings
  • Produce and coordinate the delivery of sales assets for customer presentations, meetings and trade shows, including developing and maintaining current sales documents and collateral material for sales team

  • Minimum 2 years of experience doing similar work preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is preferred
